Every year the Easter Seals puts on an a really cool event called the Drop Zone to raise money for people with disabilities and special needs. Â This year I was so excited to be able participate and take photos of the superhero’s as they made their way down the side of Sun Life Plaza. Â The team from Easter Seals was amazing and even let me rappel before I started shooting. Â I have to say, its pretty intense hanging backward off the roof, looking down too the street about 30 stories below. Â The guys from Crux Climbing and Bouldering worked so hard making sure everyone made it safely down the wall.
The superhero’s participating in the event had to raise at least $1500 in order to rappel and many of them raised a heck of a lot more. Â The most impressive to me were the people who are deathly afraid of heights but were facing their fears doing it anyway because they knew it was a small sacrifice for a great cause.
