Kyrsten & Mike | Banff Wedding Photographer

Kyrsten & Mike had a beautiful August wedding in Banff.  Everything was perfect, except one thing… I forgot my dress shoes in Calgary.  Luckily they didn’t mind me wearing sandals for the wedding.  I’m kidding, I really did forget my shoes but thankfully stores in Canmore open pretty early.  Anyway… on to the wedding.  The Waldhaus Pub at the Banff Springs hotel was a really cool spot with a terrace overlooking the mountain valley.  The hotel staff even cut a giant heart in the grass below the terrace where Kyrsten and Mike got married.  My favourite part about this wedding was when Kyrsten and Mike agreed to walk out into the freezing cold river.  Who needs trash the dress sessions when you can do it on wedding day.  Actually Kyrsten’s dress wasn’t trashed at all… she told me later that the part of the dress that went into the water ended up being the cleanest.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your day!
